Dodge Challenger Interior Upgrade Guides
1970 - 1974

We can't source seats this old, however we can help you fabricate something newer into your classic Challenger. Most fabricators opt to use the newer challenger seats from the 2008+ as they fit nicely.

2008 - 2010

For 2008, 2009, and 2010 the Challenger used a floorpan similar to the LX Charger. This layout used a L bracket to mount the passenger seat to the floorpan. You can easily re-use your L brackets to install the 2011 & newer seats into your Challenger with relatively easy wiring modifications.

2011 - 2023

The 2011 Model year introduced a new style seat that stayed throughout the generation.

SRT, SXT, and Base models have different style seats. The SRT Seats feature the most aggressive bolstering. 2011-2023 Style Shown.

2010 Challenger Seat Options

2008 – 2010 Models (The Launch Era)

Visually identified by the "squared-off" 4-gauge instrument cluster and a bulky 4-spoke steering wheel (often called the "Ram truck" wheel).

  • Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats (Standard on SRT8; Optional on R/T)

Limited Edition Options

  • Mopar '10 (2010): Katzkin Leather seats with Mopar Blue stitching and custom "Pistol Grip" (Manual) or "T-Handle" (Auto) shifters.
  • SRT8 (Launch Edition): Features an orange strip on the seat back (specific to the 2008 First Editions).
2014 Challenger Seat Options

2011 – 2014 Models (The First Refresh)

Visually identified by the new 3-spoke steering wheel and a new instrument cluster (white-faced gauges).

  • Premium Leather/Suede (SRT8 models)

  • Radar Red (Introduced as a factory option for R/T and SRT)

Limited Edition Options

  • Yellow Jacket (2012): Black Leather with Stinger Yellow accent bands and embroidered "Yellow Jacket" logo.
  • 100th Anniversary Edition (2014): Molten Red or Foundry Black Nappa leather with a unique "cloud" overprint texture and die-cast "Dodge Est. 1914" badges on the seats.
  • Mopar '14 (2014): Dark Slate Gray leather with Mopar Blue stitching and embroidered Mopar logos.
  • SRT Core: Stripped-down performance model that reverted to specific Ballistic Cloth seats (often with a checker pattern) to save money/weight.

2015 – 2023 Models (The Major Redesign)

Visually identified by the 7-inch TFT digital screen between the gauges and the "Driver-Centric" dash that wraps around the driver.

  • T/A (2017+): Cloth or Leather/Alcantara seats with embroidered T/A logo (usually Houndstooth cloth standard).
  • Demon (2018): Cloth Driver's seat only (Passenger/Rear seat delete was standard). Optional Leather/Alcantara with silver stitching.
  • Scat Pack 1320: Cloth Driver's seat only (Standard). Passenger and rear seats were a $1 option each.
  • 50th Anniversary (2020): Black Nappa/Alcantara with Sepia stitching, "50" logos, and carbon fiber bezels with a copper weave.
2023 Dodge Challenger Interior Options

"Last Call" Editions (2023)

  • Shakedown: Black Nappa/Alcantara with Red stitching and Demonic Red seatbelts.
  • Swinger: Nappa/Alcantara with Green stitching, Green "Dodge Rhombi" logo, and Mod Grain (Wood-look) aluminum bezel textures.
  • Black Ghost: Alcantara/Laguna leather seats, Alcantara steering wheel with Red SRT logo, and Dynamica suede headliner.
  • Demon 170: Cloth standard (Driver only). Optional Demonic Red Laguna Leather.
