While the 4th Generation Econoline started in 1992, there was a mid-generation refresh that occured for model year 1997 which changed the seats floor mounting pattern. This means that all 1997+ E-Series Seats are interchangeable, so long as you retain your safety equipment.
The E-Series Van has one safety feature built into the seats. This feature is known as a seatbelt pretensioner, which is a device that tightens the seatbelt more during an accident. They were made standard in 2010. You can easily move these over to your new seats if they don't already have them.
