VIN Lock & Programming: Modern Uconnect 5 systems are secured to the original vehicle's VIN. You will likely require a dealership unlock code, a Tazer bypass, or specialized third-party programming to activate this module in your specific truck. It is not strictly "plug-and-play" - initialization is required.
Custom Retrofits (Upgrading from 8.4"): If you are upgrading from an 8.4-inch screen, ensure your dashboard can accommodate the 12-inch bezel.
Feature Matching: Your truck's existing wiring harness controls features like dual-zone automatic climate control, premium audio (Alpine or Harman Kardon), and 360-degree cameras. Ensure your vehicle has the appropriate factory wiring for the features you intend to retain.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Returns are not accepted for items where installation was attempted.
