Colors & Material
- Ebony (Black) Cloth: The standard issue interior for the base model. It features a durable, tight-weave fabric designed for work environments.
- Ebony (Black) Vinyl: An optional material often found on fleet or work-spec trucks. It allows for easy wash-down and cleaning.Optional Vinyl (for fleet orders).
Interior Features:
- Bucket Seats: Most commonly found with a full center console.
- Seat Adjustment: Typically 4-way manual adjustment for both driver and passenger.
- Flooring: XL models often feature vinyl flooring, making them popular for work trucks, though carpet was available.
- Console: The XL console is simplified, lacking the rear charging ports and vents found on higher trims.
XLT Trim
Colors & Material
- Ebony (Black) Premium Cloth: A higher grade fabric than the XL, featuring patterned center inserts.
- Medium Stone (Grey/Beige) Premium Cloth: A lighter alternative to the standard black, offering a two-tone aesthetic with a darker dashboard and lighter seating surfaces to reduce heat absorption.
Interior Features:
- Bucket Seats: Most commonly found with a full center console.
- Power Seats: Equipment Group 301A and 302A add an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat (with power lumbar). The passenger seat often remains manual.
- Heated Seats: Available on the 302A package (the "Luxury Package").
- Console: The XLT console adds a leather-wrapped lid and rear-facing USB ports/110V outlets for backseat passengers.
Lariat Trim
Colors & Material
- Ebony (Black) Leather: Standard leather-trimmed seating surfaces.
- Medium Stone (Grey/Beige) Leather: Light grey leather inserts with matching bolsters. This option creates a significantly airier feel in the cabin compared to the all-black interior.
Interior Features:
- Bucket Seats: Most commonly found with a full center console.
- Power Seats: Standard 8-way power driver and passenger seats with power lumbar support.
- Heating: Heated front seats are standard on the Lariat.
- Push-Button Start: Lariat interiors are easily identified by the push-button start located on the dash, whereas XL and XLT models retain a traditional keyed ignition cylinder.
Tremor Off-Road Package
Available in both XLT and Lariat trim levels. The Tremor Off-Road package offered a unique interior.
These seats feature Ebony leather bolsters with Miko Suede (synthetic microfiber) inserts for added grip. They are distinguished by custom "TREMOR" embroidery on the seatbacks and unique stitching.
5th Gen Ranger OEM Interior Upgrades
Power Seat Upgrades
XL & Base: You will almost certainly need to run power and ground for any power seat you want to install.
XLT: Your driver seat should be pre-wired for power seats, and there's a good chance your passenger seat is as well. Look for the thicker power/ground wires in the floor plug to verify.
Lariat: These are pre-wired for power from the get-go.
Heated Seat Wiring: These will not function without significant additional electrical work. We recommend using aftermarket seat heater controls if you want to add this feature.
