GM Truck Seat & Console Upgrades By Year
1988 - 1998 (OBS)

Finding these in original condition is near impossible. We recommend fabricating something in, but if you're looking for a out-the-box solution we recommend OBS Outpost Adapter Brackets.

These allow you to use a wide variety of the newer GM seats in your OBS Truck.
1999 - 2006 (NBS)

Standard integrated seatbelts. 2003 introduced new fabrics, colors, and a different wiring harness for the seat. The 2006 model had an updated seat wiring harness as well.

2007 - 2013 (NNBS)

Integrated seatbelts were removed as an option for the first row. The center occupants for both second and third row received a 3-point seatbelt. Upgrading to power seats is easy, getting the heating & cooling to work is not.

2014 - 2018 (K2)

2014 - 2016 models offered heated & cooled seats. 2017 - 2018 models offered ventilated seats. If the seat map pocket has an exhaust vent, theyre cooled!

Extended and Crew cab use different rear seats. Center console conversions are relatively simple, and conversion kits are offered when available below.

2019 & Newer (T1)

In 2022 there was a light interior refresh where they changed some minor details on the plastic trim of the seats.

Work Truck Owners: To upgrade to a power driver seat, you'll want to either convert just your driver seat to power or replace your full front row. The "Pipe" pattern cloth was never offered with power adjustability. See conversion kits below.
