2016 - 2024 Camaro Front Seats, 2LT Black Leather Heated Ventilated Powered

Standard Seating Options

LS & 1LT Trim

Seat Material: Cloth
Options: Standard 8-way power driver seat and 6-way power passenger seat (a significant upgrade from the manual passenger seats of previous generations). The cloth is a high-grade woven material, significantly tighter and more durable than the 5th Gen base fabric.

2LT & 2SS Trim

Seat Material: Leather-Trimmed
Options: Standard heating and ventilation (cooling). These seats feature perforated center inserts for airflow.
Memory Package: 2SS and 2LT models with the Convenience and Lighting Package include driver-side memory settings for the seat and mirrors.

OEM Performance Seating Options

Camaro OEM Recaro Performance Seats

Recaro seats were standard on ZL1 and 1LE track packages and optional on SS and LT trims.

These are widely considered some of the best factory seats ever produced by GM. They feature aggressive shoulder and kidney bolsters but remain comfortable enough for daily driving. These seats feature alcantara (microfiber suede) center inserts with leather bolsters.

Unlike the Ford Mustang Recaros, the 6th Gen Camaro Recaro seats retain the heating and ventilation cooling functions if the car was originally equipped with them.

Available Colors & Materials

Core Colors

Jet Black: The standard interior color.
Medium Ash Gray: A light, cool-toned gray.
Ceramic White: A high-contrast option featuring white leather inserts on black frames.
Adrenaline Red: Bright red leather inserts and accent stitching.

Special Edition & Limited Run Seating Options

Kalahari (2LT/2SS): A rich, peanut-butter/saddle tan color that covers the entire seating surface, not just the inserts.
50th Anniversary (2017): Specific to the "Fifty" edition cars. Features black leather with suede inserts and unique orange accent stitching.
Shock & Steel (2020+): Available with a specific "Carbon Flash" instrument panel and often paired with bright yellow (Shock) or silver exterior accents, though the seats generally remained black.
Collector's Edition (2024): The final send-off. Features a unique "Panther Black" interior with specific badging to commemorate the end of the Alpha platform Camaro.

Power Seat Installation

Seat Memory Bypass

If you're installing 2SS or 2LT seats into a 1LT, 1SS, or LS model you'll need to add an additional power wire to bypass the memory computer.

Once this additional power wire is in place, you can freely adjust your driver's seat!

6G Camaro Powered Seat Installation Instructions

Rear Seat Compatibility

While the front seats remained the same between the coupe and the convertible, the rear seat is different. The convertible rear seat is almost a full 6" more narrow, and has a cutout in the leanback for the factory rear subwoofer.

You cannot install coupe rear seats in a convertible, or vice versa.
