Factory Standard Cab Trim Options

The 14th Gen F-150 standard cab was a work-first truck, offering only two trim levels - XL, and XLT. The XL came with a standard vinyl front bench seat, with the option of cloth. The XLT interior came with a Premium Cloth interior, available as bench of buckets. XLT was only offered in cloth. Available in Black, Baja, and Dark Slate.

Active Motion Massage Seat Conversions

The Lariat and King Ranch models were offered with ActiveMotion massaging seats. Limited and Platinum models came standard with them.

To accomplish this swap, you'll need an extensive interior rework. There's far more to the upgrade than just the seats themselves. You will need a complete interior, including wiring, and the complete dashboard. This swap is intense but if you're looking for a truly bespoke single cab this is the way to do it.

Power Leather Seat Conversions

Getting The Right Seats

If you're looking to upgrade your standard cab F-150 but you don't want to replace your entire interior, consider leaving out the Active Motion Massage seats. This limits your selection to the Lariat and King Ranch models.

Seat Switch Wiring

Most XL trucks are missing the main power wire that feeds the seat motors with the energy they need to move us around. Expect to run a 12 volt power and ground connection to a few wires to get the seat motors functioning. We label all the wires for conversion kits.

Heated and Ventilated Seat Wiring

If you're looking to get the heating and ventilation running you have two main options. You can handle the wires yourself and simply hook up power to the seat ventilation fans directly, or we can retofit a thermoelectric cooling kit on the seats. This simple heated/cooled seat setup runs around $800 per seat and fully converts the seats to proper thermoelectric heating and cooling.

Console Conversion Options

If your jumpseat is constantly folded down and you STILL need more storage, you should consider converting to a center console.

Column-Shift trucks were equipped with trucks that had a storage area on the left half of the front console area.

Console-Shift trucks were equipped with a console mounted shifter that could fold down flush with the console. This allowed for the optional Work Surface Console Lid to be installed.

You can only order Work Surface Armrest in conjunction with the packages that offer the Console-Shifter. If you already have an XLT with a console this is the way to go.

These are a direct swap with a wiring adapter for the 14th Gen F-150, though you may need to have your vehicle reprogrammed through ForScan to gain full function. We offer complete console conversion kits, including the shifter conversion, when available.
