Chevy Truck & SUV Seat Color Options (2007-2014)

Applicable Vehicles

  • 2007 - 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe
  • 2007 - 2014 Chevrolet Suburban
  • 2007 - 2014 GMC Yukon
  • 2007 - 2014 GMC Yukon XL

Available Materials

  • Premium Cloth: The standard upholstery for LS and SLE trims is a tight-weave, high-durability fabric designed to resist staining and wear.
  • Leather: Standard on LT (Chevy) and SLT (GMC) trims. This generation utilizes a durable automotive-grade leather on seating surfaces with matching vinyl surrounds.
  • Perforated Leather: Found exclusively on LTZ and Denali trims, these seats feature perforated center inserts to facilitate the factory ventilated (cooled) seat function.

Available Colors

  • Ebony: Deep Black (The most common interior color).
  • Light Titanium: A medium-to-light Gray.
  • Light Cashmere: A standard Tan/Beige.
  • Cocoa / Light Cashmere: A premium two-tone combination featuring dark brown (Cocoa) dash/carpet elements with Tan (Light Cashmere) seats.

Available Features

  • Heated & Cooled Seats: Available on LTZ and Denali trims, these seats utilize internal fans to push air through the perforated leather inserts.
  • Power Fold 2nd Row: Higher trim levels feature an electronic release system that tumbles the second-row bucket (or bench) seats forward at the press of a button for third-row access.
  • Side-Impact Airbags: Seat-mounted side airbags are standard on front seats for this generation.

Factory Special Editions (2007 - 2014)

The Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 (2007 - 2014)
The Z71 Off-Road package features a unique interior aesthetic distinct from the standard luxury trims.

  • Two-Tone Leather: These models often feature a specific two-tone Titanium (Gray) and Ebony (Black) leather combination.
  • Technical Trim: The interior trim panels utilize a "brushed metal" or technical appearance rather than the wood grain found in other trims.
  • Z71 Gauges: The instrument cluster features a specific background graphic and font unique to the Z71 package.

The GMC Yukon Denali (2007 - 2014)
The Denali trim represents the highest level of GMC interior appointment.

  • Exclusive Wood Grain: Features a deep, glossy dark wood grain trim on the steering wheel, center stack, and console that is unique to the Denali line.
  • Cocoa / Light Cashmere: While available on other trims, this colorway is most frequently associated with the Denali, offering a warm, upscale aesthetic.
  • Standard Luxury: Heated and cooled front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard equipment.

The "Hybrid" Models (2008 - 2013)
The Tahoe and Yukon Hybrid models utilize specific interior components designed to reduce vehicle weight.

  • Lightweight Seats: The front seats in Hybrid models feature a slimmer profile and different foam contouring compared to the gas-only models. These were engineered specifically to shave pounds for fuel economy.
  • Unique Stitching: Hybrid seats often feature a distinct stitching pattern on the inserts.

Adding A Power Seat

Low trim level trucks typically did not come pre-wired for power seats. If you have an LT trim truck you should expect a plug-and-play installation under most circumstances.

Optional Safety Equipment

Seats in this generation can be found with or without airbags, and with or without a passenger occupancy sensor.

07 - 14 Chevy Silverado GMC Sierra Tahoe Yukon Black Leather Jump Seat Console

Tahoe, Yukon, and Suburban Console to Jumpseat Conversion Options

Console to Jumpseat Swap

This is a direct swap, you'll just want the lower dash trim panel to complete your installation when converting to a jumpseat.

If you have the factory Bose subwoofer you will need to relocate it, and the rear media controls will be lost without a 1-off solution from your local audio shop.

Jumpseat to Console Swap

The dashboard is different between consoles and jumpseats. To complete this swap you'll need to change out the lower piece with the storage bin style panel.

2007 - 2014 Escalade Chevy Suburban Tahoe Third Row Seat LTZ Black Leather Pair

Tahoe, Yukon, and Suburban: Second and Third Row Seat Swaps

Second Row Seat Swaps

The second row of the GMT900 is different between the short and long wheelbase versions. Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade use the shorter wheelbase. Suburban, Yukon XL, and Escalade ESV use the longer wheelbase. You can interchange bucket and bench seats, but only from the same wheelbase model.

The short wheelbase models have a step-up to the rear shelf area built into the seat mounting brackets. The long wheelbase models mount flat to the floor, without the step-up.

Third Row Seat Swaps

These were available as both bucket seats and bench seats. The bucket seats were exceedingly rare. Each included a mini-console built into the seat. They are fully interchangeable between all models regardless of the wheelbase.
