S197 Seats in SN95

Installing 2005-2014 S197 seats into an SN95 requires either fabricating custom floor brackets or adapting your original SN95 seat rails directly to the bottom of the S197 seat frame. Reusing your factory SN95 rails is the easiest method, allowing the upgraded seats to bolt seamlessly into your original floor mounts while avoiding complex wiring.

S550 & S650 Seats in SN95

The modern S550 and S650 seats share a similar track architecture, which means they present the same fundamental mounting challenges as the S197 when being adapted to the SN95 floor pan. Physical fabrication is required to modify the mounting points or build custom adapter brackets, though some builders have successfully adapted the newer tracks to the factory SN95 mounting locations without welding. While the fabrication effort is similar to the S197 swap, S550 and S650 seats are highly recommended because they are significantly easier to source in excellent condition and bring advanced contemporary comfort to the classic New Edge chassis.
